Magazine Publishers Magazine publishers are the companies that fund the magazine industry so that it can become available to the public. Popular companies are Bauer, Conde Nast, Future PLC and IPL Media. Bauer Media Group is a large European-based media company, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany that manages a portfolio of more than 600 magazines. Not only do they just do magazines they also manage 50 radio stations, 400 digital products and many TV stations across the world. Bauer is responsible for magazines such as Kerrang, Grazia, ZOO and also Match. Conde Nast, a division of Advance Publications, is a mass media company headquartered at One World Trade Centre in New York City. Conde Nast is responsible for the magazines such as Vogue, Glamour and also GQ. Conde Nast makes roughly $390M from subscriptions alone. Future PLC is a media company. In 2006, it was the ranked the sixth-largest media corporation in the United Kingdom. It publishes more than 30 magazines in fields such as video games, technology, films, photography and sport. They publish magazines such as Techradar and also Gameradar+. IPC Media other otherwise known as TimeInc UK is a consumer magazine and digital publisher in the United Kingdom, with a large portfolio selling over 350 million copies each year. They publish magazine such as NME, Now and also country life.
