These are the final few images that I decided to upload as possible shots for my magazine images. However, I doubt all images will be featured within the magazine.
Questionnaire reflection
From looking at my questionnaire results we are able to identify the popular choices which will allow my magazine to be more appealing due to the popular ideas being involved within my magazine. We’re able to see that the target audience I should be aiming for would be mainly males between the ages of 15-17 certainly, however the magazine will most probably appeal to older years as well as females. The most popular idea for a magazine genre was in fact grime which can give me an advantage because this was my original idea, I think the genre is becoming more popular across the UK, within the mainstream media and also out of the mainstream media. I’m debating on the change of name because it is evident that people tend to read magazines monthly rather than weekly, also if it was monthly it could add a rarity to the magazine and perhaps make it more popular. Red, black and white were the most appealing colours to the respondents and this could influence my colour scheme in order to make it more attractive to the readers. Fashion advice, weekly reviews of things and also the hottest hits were selected the most when it came to features of the magazine, I think these features will be popular with teenagers because of the fact they want to be in with the latest fashion etc. For the cover, I asked which gender would be the most appealing, because of the unequal number of males and females this could have possibly effected the results as it was a female that would be the most appealing, however this decision is yet to be made. The price will be ranged from £1.50 to £2.00 as this was the price most were willing to pay for a magazine. Finally, I asked when people would like to see it published and fortnightly seemed to be the best for everyone who took the questionnaire, however, I am going to ignore this and decide between weekly or monthly because of the name, Grime Weekly, Grime Monthly, Grime Fortnightly doesn’t have a particular catch to it, however the name isn’t finalised yet so it could change in order to suit the target audience.
